Yesterday, while locked up in the messy castle I call a room, I spent all day downloading books and viewing random documentaries on different things (if I told you all the things, you would judge me). One documentary in particular really sparked something in me. That documentary would have to be Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child. Now I have been a fan of his work before watching the film, however, after watching the entire thing I really fell in love with the late and absolutely great artist. Every struggle, every triumph and every friendship that he went through really intrigued me even more. I commend director Tamra Davis and music composers Mike D and Joshua Ralph for putting together such a wonderful and informative film. But of course, it wouldn't have been possible without The Radiant Child himself, Mr. Jean-Michel Basquiat.
