This mysterious human being (or at least I think he's human) hailing all the way from Mississauga, Canada is a new artist signed to Drizzle's ever expanding (slowly but surely) label October's Very Own (or OVO). I've heard two songs from the guy who goes by the name PARTYNEXTDOOR and I actually kinda enjoy him. He's like a Canadian cross between Future, Kirko Bangz, Drake and The Weeknd.... yes, it's a weird combination but give it a chance lol. He will also be featured on Drake's upcoming album Nothing Was The Same dropping later this year. Check out his songs Wus Good/Curious and Make a Mil. Tweet me what you guys think!
Give It 2 You
Kilo Kish is back with a cover to Jordan Knight's (of New Kids On The Block) Give It 2 You with a slowed down, smooth vibe. I'm not sure if I enjoyed it because honestly, it was so odd hearing her be "sexy" and seductive on a track. Don't get me wrong she's beautiful but.... yeah.... it made me feel a little awkward lol. I like it but I kinda don't. Feel my drift? Give It 2 Me <=== Take a listen and tell me what you guys think!
Hey Love
I just got finished watching Quadron's first big video for their newest single "Hey Love" from their upcoming album Avalanche and let me tell you... I absolutely love it! It's not what I would expect from the normally mellow, ballad singing, slow dancing influenced duo and I was pleasantly surprised. CoCo O looks exceptionally beautiful in curve hugging outfits, red lips and small dancing numbers that show you she's more than a pretty face and spectacular voice. Quadron has been getting a lot of recognition lately (especially CoCo O) with the use of their cover to Michael Jackson's Baby Be Mine in Tyler Perry's movie Think Like a Man, Hey Love has been used in the Grey's Anatomy's latest season also. I am over the moon and back excited for the duo and I am looking forward to seeing them all over the music charts and award shows in the future. Check out pictures and the video itself below!
andddd we're back...
I am officially back, I apologize for the sudden departure of my liavioleta blog I had to start fresh. My last blog started to get to depressing and emotionally unstable and unorganized quite like my life last year. Howeverrrrrrr, I am back and rejuvenated and lively again! (for now) Revamping and relaunching my blog is a part of a project for one of my final IB classes for my Junior Year in high school. (oh yeah, I didn't tell you guys I actually had to go through with doing IB courses this year.... yeah, never again. EVER. Hopefully the colleges I plan on applying to look at my transcript from this year and say
.... hopefully.
This summer is sure to be memorable, successful, music history making, and crush filled (hopefully more successful) I don't really have too much to say as of right now, just stay tuned and alert. Tweet me @LiaTheWeirdo, email me and call me in your mind ha ha. Until next time, just enjoy the pictures from my hiatus!
